The worship ministry is an opportunity to use your God-given musical and communications talents for His glory. The worship team includes those who play a musical instrument, lead the singing, manage the audio/visual equipment and organize the Sunday services. The Worship Ministry Team is dedicated to leading the Emmanuel Family and Congregation to experience the presence of God through worship. Our desire is that all worshippers at Emmanuel “declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful Light” (1 Peter 2:8-9) Worship Ministry Team is charged to: Teach the biblical purpose of worship to all ages. Provide various styles of worship that will meet the needs of the people to whom we minister. Oversee the planning of worship services in cooperation with the pastor. Oversee the church’s music ministry, including the recruiting, training and scheduling of all participants, the audio and video media and other functions that relate to the worship experience.
