PURPOSE: The mission of “Just for Kids” ministry is to come alongside parents as they raise their children to know, love, and serve the Lord.

DESCRIPTION: We strive to provide exciting Christ Centered programming where the kids are a valued part of the larger church body.

Sunday Mornings: Emmanuel’s lower level is transformed by a yearly theme. The extended schedule of 9-10:20 allows for breakfast, a game room, music, and finally great, well staffed classes for 1st-6th grade students. Wednesday Evening: The “Just for Kids Club” meets from 6:30 - 8 PM with creative themed lessons, small groups, and station activities for 1st- 4th grade. The ‘56ers” Youth Group has doubled in size since it began in 2000. It’s a “Tween age” place where 5th and 6th grade students can bring friends, feel they belong, and begin to develop a life long relationship with Christ. There are many “Special Events” held through out the year: V.B.S. Mystery Days, Christmas Program, Advent, “Secret Saint Sundays”, Family Camp, Winter Retreats, Missions Projects, Salt & Light Singers & more. “Just For Kids” provides an experienced team of teachers and leaders who feel a heart felt calling to Share Christ with children.
